Grey gave a small, half-smile as he unpacked his bags, glancing about the small dorm room he was given.  Whenever he was assigned to a team (or formed one- he still wasn't clear on that), he'd likely move to another dorm.  But for now, he supposed he'd setup what he had so far.

Being from a poor village...he didn't have a lot.  The sword and shield he wore, along with his clothing, made up the most of it.  He wasn't really used to this whole...school, aspect.  His mother had taught him the basics, but beyond that, he knew very little.

Still, it was good, to get away.  He worried a bit about his father, but he didn't doubt the man would be fine- he'd just have to play it a little bit safer than he had with Grey there.  "No more crazy adventures for you, old man," he said softly under his breath.

A pang of homesickness hit him, but he ignored it for now.  He'd have time to be homesick later.  Right now, he would need to get ready for classes in a few days.  Thankfully, he'd come in on a weekend, but that didn't leave a whole lot of time for him to get ready before classes started.

He shrugged then, fitting the blade into his shield and moving it onto his back as he turned, glancing back toward the door...only now realizing it was open.  "...Huh," he said, before taking a step toward it, curious if anyone had heard him talking to himself, or really, was just in the hallway.

Flash had little need for a room or a bed as sleeping wasn't a part of his robotic nature. His room was merely a supply closet in which he left his trinkets and hung up his gun. Unfortunately his room hadn't come with a socket and so he stood out in the corridor, charging at the nearest available plug point. The plug extended from his left leg and had an extending cord so he could freely pace. He had to squeeze up against the wall so as not to impede his fellow classmates but the corridors were now fairly quiet so he could read his comic in peace. He heard a door creak open and turned to see a head pop out. Keeping place with his thumb he waved to the human, the words "Hello I am Flash Driver" plastered themselves across his face in their typical white colour and blocky font. He had to make friends with the fleshy ones, that way he could protect them easier.

As many people would undoubtedly expect, sarcasm fully intended, Being stuck in a castle for days on end because of some kind of Grimm issue was quite a boring feat. And sure, students could go out if they wanted, but that would require seeking out a professor as a chaparone. Of course, that didn't stop some students from sneaking off, But Liona wasn't one to do that. Yet. Not until it was needed for her sanity. In any case, she was on her way to her dorm room, looking for something to do, maybe someone to talk to. There had been a number of new students join up that she had yet to meet, maybe she could do that. Contrary to what others may or may not think, she did like making friends. It just didn't happen very often because.... Reasons. As she turned the corner she came across what looked to be an Android. He seemed to be interacting with someone at one of the Dorm's doors, the one next door to her own. As Liona got closer she saw the face at the door, saw who he was. Great. Another one. she thought. Reasons indeed. Still, she needed to kill the painful boredom that had been destroying her as of late, so she approached the android. "A bot huh? That's new. I hope you don't mind if I butt in here, Ive got nothing better to do." She smiled with a small wave. "I'm Liona."

There were a few things that Grey hadn't expected to see when he poked his head out of his dorm room. A Grimm was one of hose things. As was an elephant, his father and so on. But a person, or what looked like a person with a monitor for a head wasn't even on the list of things he hadn't expected to see. In that, the male nearly tripped over his own feet backpedaling.

"U-uh," he began, not entirely sure what he was supposed to say. At that point, however, words flashed across the monitor in a sort of...greeting, Grey supposed. "Hi Flash Driver..." he stated, with a lack of assurance in his tone. "Or maybe just Flash?" He continued, starting to get his bearings a bit now that he'd recovered from the initial shock.

At that point, the blond-haired male noted another approaching. He glanced out of the door, giving a smile and a wave of his own to the 'more normal' person outside of his door. "Hey there," he said, mentally noting that while he could have done better, he almost certainly could have done worse. "I'm Grey. It's nice to meet-" his gaze shifted to Flash for a few seconds, "-both of you. I was just getting settled in." He paused then, as new conversation was always a difficult task. "Is the Grimm situation as bad as they say?" He blurted. Not the smoothest choice of words or conversation but...it would work.

Flash turned to the Faunus girl who had introduced herself, his same introduction "Hello I am Flash Driver" plastered on his screen. He heard footsteps approach and turned to see the boy had exited his room to join the conversation. Remembering him manners he opened his chest and shoved the comic in. He quickly realized that the boy was a little bit more anxious than the girl, likely intimidated by Flash's massive size and robot-ness. He shot him a thumbs up as a sign of both agreeing on just "Flash" and friendliness. To his later question though he turned his hand sideways, while the grimm situation wasn't terrible there had been the odd attack. Flash realized that the conversation would be slightly awkward due to his lack of voice chip. He took a step back so that his screen would be more visible to the new people and so that they could see each other with more ease. He was beginning to realize his inability to talk was making things a little difficult, he planned to upgrade it along with the rest of his body sooner or later. For now though he could only communicate through the words on his face.

Liona didn't remember greeting the human but he waved anyway, which was typical really. Humans tended to have that superiority complex that gave themselves the illusion of the world revolving around them. Naturally, Liona simply shot him a quick glare as the small group shifted, with Flash moving back so everyone could see his monitor and the human fully removing himself from his dorm room. Liona decided to play nice for now, if only for the sake of letting the guy settle in, but she by no means planned to let her guard down. Of course, playing nice was a difficult task, and the human did not make it easier with his dumb question. Was the Grimm situation bad? The stupid curfew was in place for a reason, was it not? "Oh, we've only been attacked a few times and can't leave without faculty permission  because of it, despite the fact that this is indeed an academy to train hunters. CLEARLY everything is under control." The obvious sarcasm was aimed both at the human and at the academy administration for its bogus ruling.

Grey winced- it appeared the cat had claws. He hadn't meant to really set her off like that, but apparently he had, with his question. "Yeah...I haven't read all the information in the welcome packet yet," he admitted, glancing back behind him toward the room he'd been assigned. "Sorry- I'm not exactly up and up on how everything works, yet," he continued, giving a small shrug. She hadn't given him her name yet, so he didn't...really know what to call her.

"Kinda crazy they're admitting new students with everything going as rough as it is," he said, pulling back his hand that none had shaken and scratching his jaw before glancing back over at Flash. The fellow had an odd look, to him. There were plenty of humans and faunus back in his home village...but whatever Flash was...there hadn't been any.

"Any of the students fighting them regardless? I heard stories of the thrill-seekers at Beacon...not sure if that was just sorta standard or that kind of adrenaline-junkie was relative to there..." He wasn't exactly fond of throwing his life away this early to fight the Grimm...but if he was called on to fight, he'd do his best.

A message began to scroll across Flash's face; "People become hunters to fight grimm it is only natural that they would want to get a head start on killing them, even if it means endangering themselves and, on occasion, others." While he didn't like the idea of people getting injured he couldn't help but feel a spark of admiration for them, willing to risk their lives and they're not even out the gate. He leaned against the wall enjoy the sensation of electricity flowing into him, he assumed it was the same feeling as those of flesh get after eating a decent meal. He could tell the boy was still uncomfortable talking to him. It was only natural, a lot of people were freaked out by him, however he could sense a feeling of distaste aimed from Liona toward the boy. He could never understand how two people could feel this way about each other after only knowing them for a brief moment, he knew there was bad blood between the two races but was it really this bad? Then again he'd never hated anyone in his life so he couldn't really judge.

So much effort and willpower was required and used in order to let Flash answer the Human's question rather than replying with another sarcastic response. She was able to pull it off, sure, but It was immensely difficult. Still, as long as he didn't cause too much trouble for her, and as long as she could, again, play nice, she could probably tolerate the presence of the human for now. For the sake of boredom. "Anyway," she moved on, turning to flash. "Do you have nothing that lets you talk? You'd probably be the ultimate stealth type of hunter." With no speech and no breath, the android would likely be very good at getting the preemptive on Grimm. She herself was more of the type to run in and deal damage with her dust, Though that kind of style came with huge risks, and needed to be more refined for sure.

Gren was stumbling through the hallways carrying a stack of luggage. It was all too obvious that his mother had overpacked. He made it to his dorm, luckily, and managed to open the door. Upon noticing Flash and Liona fighting, he said "Um, is this a bad time?" A piece of luggage on his stack jiggled a bit causing a Jenga effect. Gren said ""No...no..no no." The luggage all fell creating a large amount of clutter on the floor. "Um, oops....sorry."

Oliver thought it a good day to go wandering for a bit before classes started. He meandered through the hall for a good ten minutes. Which to him felt like a few hours. (Oliver’s not the most timely apt people of all time.) As Oliver rounded the corner with his headphones on his head blaring music into his ears at a reasonable volume. He noticed two new faces and an android standing in the hallway seemingly talking to eachother. Oliver pushed his headphones off his head and seemed to sneak up behind them and just stand there in silence. His headphones emitting a small amount of sound. If one were paying attention (or were a faunus with ears) you could hear; ‘Spooky Scary Skeletons, send shivers down your spine. Shrieking skulls will shock your soul, seal your doom tonight.’ in a rather fast pace to what seemed to be dubstep. (As if it were a remix.) “Hey.” Oliver replied after he felt that he had contemplated his entrance for a few good seconds. (few being one.) “I’m Oliver.” Oliver seemed to notice his music was playing and reached to his scroll and paused the song he was listening to. "Sorry... Music. I tend to forget that i leave it on sometimes."

OOC:
The song i was referencing. For any who don't know. Is The Living Tombstones Spooky Scary Skeletons Remix. Found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6-ZGAGcJrk

While walking down a hallway Sno began to quietly sing to herself a song called Senbonzakura which was a Japaneses song, "Daitan-futeki ni haikara kakumei Rairai-rakuraku hansen kokka Hinomaru-jirushi no nirinsha korogashi Akuryou-taisan ai-shii-bii-emu Kanjousen o hashirinukete touhon-seisou nan no sono Shounen shoujo sengoku-musou ukiyo no manima ni Senbonzakura yoru ni magire kimi no koe mo todokanai yo Koko wa utage hagane no ori sono dantoudai de mioroshite Sanzen-sekai tokoyo no yami nageku uta mo kikoenai yo Seiran no sora haruka kanata sono kousenjuu de uchinuite." She stopped because she realized that while singing she took it to crescendo and got louder than she wanted, she was looking down the hall to see if anyone heard her singing. It's not that she was embarrassed she had an amazing voice it was that some humans or faunus might get annoyed or might not want to hear her songs mainly because it was in a different language.

(In case you are curious here is the song that I am referencing or atleast the part she sang https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P0EQsL1I20)

Lloyd was wandering in the hallways in the search of his dorm, which he didn't found yet. As he was walking and checking his map on his scroll, he heard what seemed to be a girl singing a song. Lloyd paid close attention to the lyric, although clearly understood that it was in a foreign language. It didn't bothered him and found it very lovely and tried to find where it came from. While Lloyd got the felling that he was getting closer to the singer, the song suddenly stopped. "Man, where did it go? I was enjoying it." Lloyd decided that he'll seek the lovely voice he heard even if he'll get lost in the process. He followed the hallway to end up facing a faunus, an android and two humans who seemed to talk together. "Excuse me, did you heard someone singing too or did I just imagined it? Lloyd felt embarrassed to butt in a conversation in which he probably didn't belong.

Coby made his way through the halls of the dormitory carrying what he'd packed from home. He had a suitcase, a backpack, and his weapon in carry mode strapped to his back. He wore a blue headband along with the rest of his attire colored in a blue and yellow motif throughout his outfit.  Coby found his temporary living quarters and set down his suitcase and tossed down his bag on the bed he claimed. Coby looked around the room, seemed he was one of the first ones in the room thus far. Coby heard voices from down the hallway. He came to the door and looked down the hall at a gathering of what he assumed to be other students. Coby smiled and checked that everything in his space was in order before leaving the room.

Coby approached the group which seemed to consist of quite a few people. From what he saw there were a handful of individuals gathered. Coby approached the group with a friendly smile and wave. " Yo!" He greeted. "Interesting setting for a social." He said. " Name's Coby!" He introduced with a slight wave. " How's all your move-ins going?" He asked.

It seemed from out of nowhere that more people joined the little group that had formed out here in the hallway, and it was turning into quite the party. It began with a faunus, thank God, who was blaring music from his headphones, followed by a girl, human, singing in some foreign language.  After this came yet another human wondering about the singing, and then a last human jumping in, wanting to force himself into the group like the others. For the folks at home keeping up, there were now 4 humans in Liona's presence, when she could barely tolerate the one. While the arrival of the second faunus diluted the situation, it was not enough to make Liona both uncomfortable and irritated, and the more people joined, the more it showed on her face. So, she decided her best solution was to turn around, not saying a word, and walk away. She would find something to ease her boredom elsewhere.
